Farm System Rankings

January 30, 2012
Julio Teheran

The rankings below are the culmination of hundreds of hours of statistical research, weeks of studying video and years of attending games. This list factors in elite, well-known prospects down to guys who are producing in the minors and not getting talked about much. I've listed Project Prospect's choice for each team's top prospect after the team's name. While I haven't seen every prospect in the minors, I've personally scouted the majority of the players listed below.

Note (From 1/30/12): This list is HEAVILY WEIGHTED TOWARD MLB-READY, HIGH-UPSIDE TALENTS who have played in full-season leagues and players who have produced at elite levels in full-season leagues. Draft picks and a select number of high-upside talents from short-season and rookie ball were also given significant weight. Organizations that lack the above player types but are strong in talent that has yet to provide elite production for their level may be ranked lower on this list than they are on more scouting-oriented lists.
